 Dear friend,

Welcome to the website of the Wendland-Cook Program in Religion and Justice. We are glad that you are interested in learning more about us and hope you will join us in several unique efforts and opportunities. Rarely are the concerns for religion, economics, and ecology engaged together, and even less common is the opportunity to do so with substantial funding. Unique is also our location at a major university and divinity school, where we are able to work across disciplines at the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. Unheard of is the location of such a project in connection with social and labor movements in the South of the United States, which makes us hopeful that what we can do here can be done anywhere.

We invite you to connect with us, journey with us, and help us grow,

Joerg Rieger
